This comic features a lot of guest characters from other comics.
- Singing Cricket ladles some liquid into a bowl. Next to him is a big cauldron of bubbling... soup? with a pair of cute little big-eyed creatures (Pelkos) sitting in it unconcerned. Behind him, a messy-haired zombie with rolled-back eyes and torn clothes (Elodie, aka Shave Your Eyebrows) approaches from behind, arms raised menacingly. He doesn't see her.
Singing Cricket: "I don't think we've ever had this many people over! I hope they like soup... (It IS soup, right?)"
Shave: "Braaaains..."
- Singing Cricket whirls round with a hammer kick into Shave's neck, breaking it with a CRACK. Her jaw clamps down and bites into her tongue.
Singing Cricket: "Zombies? Not again! No brains for you!"
- Singing Cricket has turned on other creatures arriving at the party, ready to wipe out the zombie horde. He holds a vampire alligator (August, from Gator Days) up against a tree, ready to stab him with his dagger. A sheep-person in glasses and a Pomni costume (Lamb in a Jam) runs screaming. Kayra, dressed as Eda from Owl House, pokes the corpse of Shave with her Owlbert staff. The corpse's head is backward, its neck twisted horribly.
Kayra: "Silly husband, those aren't zombies! They're our guests!"
Singing Cricket, confused but holding back his stab, looks back at her: "Huh?"
Kayra: "Didn't I tell you? This is a COSTUME party!"
- Singing Cricket looks embarrassed. Eve (from Tiff & Eve), in a She-Ra costume, glares at Singing Cricket, holding She-Ra (her big wooden hammer). Nanny Muk drags the corpse away with two other Characters - a rat girl dressed as Elvira, Mistress of the Dark (Marla, Feral Mills) and a little curly haired girl holding a Power Ranger style helmet (Alma, Let's Go Camping With the Elder God) watch, horrified.
Singing Cricket: "Oops. Uhh... Sorry, everyone. You know what it's like with zombies..."
Nanny Muk: "Don't worry, I'll sort this out."
Nanny Muk has placed Shave's corpse in the centre of a pentagram drawn in the grass. She picks up a black goat with a pentagram on its forehead (Baphy the Evil Goat) and holds a knife to its throat, chanting in Infernal [which in this comic appears as Klingon script]. Nanny continues to chant. A close-up of Shave's face as the now-limp goat drips blood on her and into her mouth. Her eyes blink open.
Shave: "Uungh..."
- Singing Cricket talks to Kayra, looking relieved. He eats his soup, which has another Pelko in it, dressed as Finn from Adventure Time. Kayra has bitten directly into the head of another Pelko. In the background, Eve, holding a drink, hits on a young man wearing short pants and a hooded overcoat like Lois Lane from the animated Superman series, not noticing his girlfriend, a cat-eared robot girl dressed as Superman (Wacky and Daisy, from Wacky's Weird Comics/My Alien Robot Girlfriend), crossing her arms and glaring disapprovingly at her. Baphy the goat lies in a pool of blood in the centre of the pentagram. Behind them all, Shave rubs her head, looking dazed. An anthropomorphic jackalope woman dressed in a Starfleet uniform (Em, MakeshiftEmery) puts a hand on her shoulder, trying to chat.
Singing Cricket: "Phew! I'm glad that worked out. I'm a bit paranoid about zombie outbreaks after LAST time."
- The focus shifts to Shave and Em. Shave grabs hold of em and bites her neck, tearing out flesh, blood, and viscera. Nanny Muk watches from the background, looking pleased.
Singing Cricket continues talking off panel: "I could've KILLED that poor girl. We're lucky to have good old Nanny Muk around!"
