I'm doing a few little vignette comics about day-to-day life with Singing Cricket and Kayra for a little bit to lead into the next arc. This idea came to me while skiing and I had to draw it before anything else.

I had to get this joke out of my head so that a new story arc can begin next episode.

I delayed posting by a week because there was just too much detail to hit my arbitrary Wednesday deadline. Art pro tip: If you want to make a comic quickly, don't set it in a forest.

This is a major shift in tone - kind of necessary as an introduction to this new character. I hope you like it. Don't worry, the jokes will be back.

And that's the end of Tamilda's Vengeance arc. The longer-form story has been a bit of a departure for this comic (considering it's only been going for a few months); I hope you liked the experiment. We'll be back to one-shots and shorter arcs next time.

It’s the end of the House Training arc! A new arc featuring an old favourite character begins next episode, because I accidentally came up with a new storyline while skiing this weekend. There may be some Patron-only pages coming out of this.

Cirra the gnome druid has appeared before in flashbacks (#10, #53). She was one of the PCs who rescued and then sort-of-adopted Tamilda, and took her on adventures until they dropped her off in town and forgot about her. She's can't help taking on the "team mom" role.

Baetzzi was part of the party's adventures for a good chunk of the campaign, her soul inhabiting the goggles you've seen Cirra wearing in her appearances. Most of the problems in the game (including the death of Tamilda's parents) came up because the party were trying to help Baetzzi return to life.

Her whole deal is a saga. She's one of my favourite NPCs. And the party -- Cirra in particular -- love her, despite all the bad stuff.

I had another storyline in mind, but then remembered it's Spooky Month. So here's a little Halloween mini-arc.

A special Fall episode deserved a rare colour treatment.

How did the changeling survive this long? Where did she get that bottle? Does her mother know she's not really a person? Will these questions ever be answered, or will this new arc be suddenly interrupted next episode with a holiday special?!

After Che from the excellent Table Top put Singing Cricket in one of her episodes, I've been wanting to bring Nanny into one of mine. Happily Che was keen to work with me, and gave me some custom drawings of her Nanny to drop into my scene.

Given that last time Singing Cricket interacted with her player rather than Nanny directly, this does raise a lot of questions about how their universes interact...
